COLORADO SPRINGS and FORT COLLINS, CO
This client required renovations and upgrades to infrastructure, data center, labs, office and flex space.
To fully understand the facility requirements and capacity, Dynalectric performed and recorded extensive site investigations. This comprehensive investigation provided the client with actual existing capacity information, which reduced costs associated with redesign, schedule delays, and potential rework due to encountering differing site conditions during construction.
Dynalectric also handled the pre-fabrication of specialized components and whips in its UL Listed prefab shop to ensure quality, reduce safety risks, and help lower overall cost for the owner. All savings realized during the project were returned to the owner and allowed for additional upgrade projects to take place.
Additionally, the overall project duration was saved through the Method of Procedure (MOP) process. As well, preparation of two alternate plans ensured the work was completed by the previously scheduled dates.
Over a 10-year period, Dynalectric has completed over 200 projects ranging in value from $10,000 to $7,000,000 for the data centers and support buildings on the Colorado Springs and Fort Collins campuses. The scope of work for these projects has included tasks that range from electrical services to general construction and trade management, including renovations/remodels, space conversions, building expansions and additions, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems upgrades.
