Pete Cory

Business Development & Preconstruction



Pete has been in the electrical industry since 2002. He has worked as an estimator, project manager working on small projects, and progressed to his current role within the company. Pete collaborates with owners, architects, engineers, and general contractors at every level, beginning with coordinating projects from conceptual design and budget through construction and systems commissioning. One of his most important roles is maintaining and strengthening relationships with our customers and end users.

Pete oversees a staff of estimating, preconstruction, and marketing personnel. Each provide detailed quotations, design-build/assist services, and quality project proposals worth millions of dollars annually. Pete is responsible for ensuring each member of the team provides value engineering, systems coordination, and effective solutions that deliver high quality operational systems for each of our customers.

As Business Development Manager, Pete works closely with Dynalectric’s President and Executive Vice President to maintain Dynalectric’s current customer base. Pete is also responsible for new customer acquisition strategies, completing sales objectives, and monitoring long lead projects.

Pete holds a Bachelor of Science in building construction management with electrical specialization from Purdue University. A U. S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate, he has completed courses in Microsoft Project Planning and Primavera Scheduling software.
