Rob Long
Acting President

Rob oversees the overall business strategy, direction, internal policies and procedures, market evaluation, and business development for operations across all markets at Dynalectric Company (Colorado).

Rob is an industry veteran of 26 years with a more than six-year tenure at Dynalectric. His leadership has been instrumental to strengthening our business in the transportation market, and he has played a key role in projects for some of our most high-profile clients. Rob studied building construction management at Purdue University and is active in the IBEW-NECA apprenticeship programs, serving on both inside and outside committees.

Pete Cory
Vice President of Preconstruction

Pete works to maintain and strengthen relationships with our customers and end users—collaborating with owners, architects, engineers, and general contractors at every level.

Pete has been with Dynalectric Colorado since 2009. He is a LEED-Green associate with a Bachelor of Science in building construction management with electrical specialization from Purdue University. His expertise includes mission critical facilities, such as data centers; manufacturing and healthcare facilities; and projects in the industrial and commercial sectors.

 

Jason Sweeney bio picture

Jason Sweeney
Director of Construction Operations

Jason oversees team members through all phases of construction. Leveraging his experience in fast-track, design-build, and mission-critical environments, Jason leads the special projects team by example. He demonstrates and encourages immediate action and attention to detail to build collaborative working relationships with project stakeholders.

Jason’s background spans the commercial, entertainment, government, healthcare, technology, as well as the industrial and manufacturing markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science in civil and environmental engineering from Cornell University. Additionally, Jason is a LEED-accredited professional who drives sustainable construction practices.

 

Karen Janzen bio picture

Karen Janzen
Controller

Karen supervises accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. She is responsible for ensuring that Dynalectric Colorado complies with SEC and SOX regulations as a public company and is constantly on the lookout for anything that puts the company at fiscal risk.

A graduate of Arizona State with an accounting degree, Karen has decades of accounting experience in the architectural, engineering, and construction industry. Prior to this, she worked as a government contract specialist. In this role, she supported several major local hazardous waste projects. A highlight in her career was assisting a highly detailed bid involving several stakeholders for a multi-million proposal.

Sophia R. Ward
Safety Manager

Sophia is responsible for helping develop, administer, and implement Dynalectric Colorado’s comprehensive health and safety program— consistently promoting organization-wide compliance with the most stringent safety regulations.

Sophia has more than a decade of progressive experience in environment, health, and safety (EHS), as well as organizational development and human resources in both the United States and Canada. She has an undergraduate degree in communications from the Metropolitan State University of Denver and completed graduate studies at the University of Denver and University of Colorado Denver.
