David White Safety Manager

As Dynalectric Company's safety manager for the past five years, Dave helps maintain the high safety standards that contribute both to employees' well being and the company's ability to deliver projects on-time. He designed, implemented and facilitated a foreman peer group, quarterly labor/management safety meetings and weekly site safety investigations, all of which help create more safety conscious and cohesive project teams. He also revamped the company's health and safety manual, and increased the safety committee's responsibility and accountability.

 

Expertise
Dave entered the loss control, risk management and occupational safety field in 1989. Since then, he has developed, implemented and managed OSHA-mandated programs in numerous industrial facilities, and organized and administered safety programs for a variety of commercial and industrial projects. Through his involvement in a diverse range of environmental programs, he has also helped ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, while gaining expertise in generating and presenting state and federal hazardous waste and air emissions documents. Over the years, he has demonstrated an outstanding ability to implement safety procedures that achieve maximum efficiency within budget, while upholding the highest quality standards.

Dave holds a bachelor's degree in management and a master's in organizational management from Dallas Baptist University. He has also obtained his OSHA 500 and 501 certificate and is a certified OSHA 10- and 30-hour course instructor. In addition, he is a certified first aid and CPR instructor, and ISO 9001:2000 internal auditor.

 

The Personal Side
Dave enjoys traveling with his wife. In addition, he is a rescue level 3 member of the Park County Search and Rescue Team and a certified State of Colorado first responder for search and rescue missions.
